Yap is an island in the Federated States of Micronesia. It is mostly known to scuba divers as being one of the few places in the world (if not the only place in the world) where you can dive with Manta Rays every day. It is also known for the large stone money that is still used for large transactions (US dollars are used for common transactions).

It is very remote and can be reached by plane only two days a week. It has less than 100 rooms for rent on the entire island and only a very few places to eat since the locals never eat in restaurants. It is the most traditional island in Micronesia where traditional clothing is still worn.

If fact, the moment you step off the airplane a topless woman will great you with a fresh flower lei. Even in Colonia (the capitol and only somewhat modern village on the island) it is not uncommon for woman to work in stores bare breasted. All in all, it is about as exotic place as you could ever find to visit.

Although it’s a mere 2.8 miles off the eastern tip of Zanzibar, Mnemba Island is about as far from civilization as you’re ever likely to feel. Every vista here looks like a shot from a honeymoon brochure, with 10 romantic beachside lodges each with their own verandas overlooking the sea, untouched white beaches, shimmering blue waters, and the type of glowing sunsets only ever seen in the movies. The island is just one mile in circumference, with a conservation barrier that protects the coral reefs, giant turtles, ghost crabs, and tropical fish that surround it. It’s no wonder it was voted one of the top three most romantic islands in the world by trusty Condé Nast. Walk barefoot along the shore in your linen trousers, indulge in fresh fruit for breakfast and fresh lobster for dinner, enjoy a spot of windsurfing, deep-sea fishing or kayaking, and sink into crisp linen sheets all in one day at Mnemba Island.

The second home with Mr Richard Branson, Necker Island is the Virgin whom the contractor have very the island deprived in the middle of the British Virgin Islands. The diffusion through 74 acres glorious of tropical forest and fine sand fails, this island of luxury was upwards broken by Branson towards the end of the Seventies and was transformed into attractive retirement and of first class of island for aucuns less than $10 million. For $47.000 per day, the easy guests can have the free reign of the island, which includes a villa of Balinese-model with 10 rooms to be laid down, two private beaches, a certain number of swimming pools, courts of tennis, a personal chief, water sports, and approvals in abundance. Decorated outside with luxurious wood hard Brazilian, antiquities and the pieces of furniture of Balinese and fabrics authentic, it is not any wonder the tastes of the late princess Diana, Mariah Carey and Oprah Winfrey remained here. Fortunately for us, Branson is a man who likes to divide — and which can blame it?

Luxury-party portion of the reserve on the Cousine Island visually stunning remote islands in the world, and only 62 hectares. One of the 115 islands in the Seychelles, tropical island, like something out of Robinson Crusoe, and it is only by helicopter. Comfortable Cousine Island Resort and Spa is the ideal place to stay on the island for travelers in search of high-level infrastructure, while the calmness and beauty of nature that surrounds it is important for peace and tranquility, as sought by the city Slickers. Full of lush vegetation, and all kinds of birds and turtles on the Cousine Island, a garden of Eden in the modern world today.
