(Local name: Zoologischer Garten), in Basel Birsig valleys great and interesting Zoo (Zoologischer Garten, a restaurant), known affectionately as the Zolli people in Basel. Founded in 1874 with 510 animals, mostly European species. It consists of kindergarten (fish, penguins, reptiles), a box with different kinds of excellent Monkey House (1970 orang-utans, gorillas, monkeys, nose, etc.), enclosure (1927), with native and exotic birds, birds of prey , antelopes and children in the home zoo. Zoo has been particularly successful in breeding rhinos. Elephants in a particular scene, and attractions for children.
