krakatau,volcanoMost tourists tend to Bandar Lampung province of Sumatra around and go directly to Padang or Bengkulu, or one of the other major cities. But Bandar Lampung city is worth more than an apartment for several days. The capital of the southern province of Lampung, it is estimated that has a population of about 750000 people and is located on the southern tip of Sumatra, only through the Sunda Street Java. From here we can offer alternative travel or transport by sea to achieve peace and famous Anak Krakatau volcano Krakatau. Lampung Bay quiet place and the islands offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving. There are also a number of beautiful beaches and isolated.

Other attractions in Bandar Lampung, include:

  1. Thay Hin Bao – a beautiful Chinese temple, decorated with beautiful statues. Passengers are requested to observe different rituals of prayer and even join if they so wish.
  2. The Krakatau Monument – is in a small park on Jl. Veterans, the monument large metal buoy washed in the nearby shores in 1883 as a result of the tsunami, after a volcanic eruption of Krakatau claimed that 35000 lives.
  3. Museum Negeri Lampung – the museum houses an extensive collection of cultural values, Kris and megalithic statues.
  4. Bukit Randu – One of the tourists. At the top of the summit, which will have a beautiful view from the Gulf. Try not to judge them in the rainy season.
  5. Pasar Bawah – Traditional market sell all kinds of goods. It makes sense to buy and rely on some great products.
  6. Bundo Kanding Plaza – not your usual elite area, but also a great place to view and purchase. Sold traditional market.
  7. Pasir Putih Beach – about 10 klms outside the city in the far south, it is not interpreted name (white sand), but also a great place for ships to travel to remote islands such as Pulau Kondong.

Bandar Lampung is also an excellent starting point towards  Way Kambas National Park, where the road Way Kambas Elephant Training Centre. Here you can see the elephants participate in football and sports activities and for those adventurers explore the beauty of national parks.
