http://www.saveyourheritage.com/images/GugongForbiddenCity.jpgThe Forbidden City China is divided into two main parts. The outer court is where the emperors governed, the inner court is where they, along with the rest of the royal family, lived. The two are separated by the immense Gate of Celestial Purity. This gate, also called the Meridian Gate, is famous for its resemblance to a phoenix. Harmony is an important, and repeating, theme to these hallowed grounds of the Forbidden City China. If the enclosure has one major centerpiece, it is The Hall of Supreme Harmony, where emperors decreed laws for the Chinese people. The Hall of Central Harmony and Hall of Supreme Harmony are close contenders for this title, however.

The main chapel is luxuriously opulent, featuring a three-tiered roof gilded in gleaming gold. Step inside the doors of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and you will find the statue itself—a two-foot sculpture carved from a single piece of dark, green jade—sitting high above an immense, gold alter.

In addition to swimming in the natural pool that has formed at the base of the Pagsanjan Falls in the Philippines, visitors can use the site as a starting point for canoe rides down the Pagsanjan River. The Pagsanjan Falls in the Philippines drop 393 feet at their longest point. The cascading water that plunges into the natural pool below is strong enough to give a good massage, which many visitors take advantage of.

Matsumoto Castle was originally named Fukashi Castle. There is a ternary moat encircling the castle and high-reaching stone walls.
The castle’s fortification is threefold, balanced with the concentric moat surrounding it. The third and last wall is that of the original castle walls. The entire castle was built in 1504 in a city then called Nagano, north of Nagoya. The castle in Nagano is considered one of the top three Japanese castles along with Himeji Castle (an easy half-day excursion from Kyoto) and Kumamoto Castle, east of Nagasaki.

The reason behind this is the hard work by local authorities to project Pattaya as a family-friendly destination.

Tourists who travel to Pattaya seek more than just sandy beaches; there are numerous attractions for both kids and adults.

One of the most unusual attractions is the Bottle Art Museum, which displays miniature art inside bottles-there are more than 300 pieces on display in the museum.

Underwater World Pattaya is another great attraction. Located on Sukhumvit Road near South Pattaya, this underwater marine park is home to some of most exotic marine life.

Another key Pattaya vacation attraction is the Khao Chichan cliff, which features a massive engraved image of Buddha.
