Covering 6,726 square miles (17,420 square kilometers) on the Pacific coast of southern Chile, the Laguna San Rafael National Park is one of Chile’s major national parks. The Laguna San Rafael National Park was established in 1945 to protect the area’s natural plants and wildlife, and was designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1979. The Laguna San Rafael National Park is named for the San Rafael Lagoon, a coastal lake within the park, which was created by the retreating San Rafael Glacier in the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. The Northern Ice Field is entirely contained within the Laguna San Rafael park and is the origin of nineteen glaciers.

The Bolivian River Dolphin (Inia geoffrensis boliviensis) is a subspecies of the Amazon river dolphin. Although older publications as well as some recent publications consider the boliviensis population as distinct species from Inia geoffrensis, the great majority of the scientific community including the IUCN consider boliviensis population to be a subspecies of Inia geoffrensis. Current classificationtherefore considers a single species, Inia geoffrensis, in the genus Inia, with three recognized subspecies (Wikipedia).
The amazing archaeological city of Chan Chan is located just a few miles outside of the city of Trujillo. The Chan Chan ruins are spread over a fairly wide area, and there are four main sites that you can visit. Though the ruins found here do not exactly seem as complete as some of the Inca highland ruins such as Machu Picchu, Chan Chan is nonetheless a real treat to explore. Chan Chan was the center of the Chimu Empire, and it is the largest pre-Columbian adobe city known to have existed on the continent.
Chan Chan Trujillo tours are abundant enough, and if you choose to visit the ruins with a guide, it can greatly enhance your understanding of the ruins. Among the Chan Chan ruins, you can expect to see a number of ruined citadels, as well as pyramidal temples and sturdy defense walls. It is believed by scholars that some 30,000-50,000 people lived in Chan Chan, with a likely variance according to season. The main compounds at Chan Chan were reserved for nobility, and commoners were likely forbidden to enter them.
Well, I believe it’s yes. These all-inclusive deals can obscure the correct price of anything, but let’s just say this supply from CheapCaribbean.com is fairly darn low cost. The discount travel business that focuses on all-inclusive trips to the Caribbean and Mexico is celebrating its 10th birthday and offering a particular $10 per person deal on a hotel in the Dominican Republic.
Beginning today, CheapCaribbean.com – based in Doylestown, Pa. – has an all-inclusive bundle to the Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort and Spa in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with VIP amenities such as private beach and leading shelf liquor, for only $10 each, NOT including air. When you add the airfare, the 5-night deal is about $399 each.
As I said, fairly darn inexpensive. When I checked moments ago, there had been 80 reservations remaining on the $10 per person. The offer is supposed to final for the subsequent 10 days, but the site is already getting slammed.
Additionally, travelers who book packages during the 10-day sale, acquire birthday gifts – including free of charge margarita machines with all Mexico vacation offers, totally free catamaran cruises with Jamaica holidays and $50 Amex gift cards with all other pacakges. Appears like a party.
